Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans had only one purpose in life: perform and compose country music. Evans is quoted as saying, "God has put me on the earth in order to be an artist." According to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It is what I enjoy doing more than any other thing and I'm determined to be successful." Evans is also hoping to be successful in reviving the traditional style of country music that was popularized by stars such as Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Also, she was influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette as well as Patty Loveless. During the late 1990s, in a time where most promising country musicians turned to contemporary, pop radio-friendly tunes, Evans made her initial mark with her country music that looked to the past which was evident in her 1997 debut entitled True Lies. True Lies was not a popular hit, despite having been appreciated by critics and getting an Academy of Country Music nomination for the most female-friendly vocalist. Evans was able to convince her to modify the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. This gave her the fame she'd been longing for. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on February 5, 1971. Sara Evans spent her early years with six siblings.
